(Chico, California)— Klean Kanteen,
a leader in sustainable solutions to single-use plastic, is bolstering
its executive team with the addition of Martin Stokes. With over 20
years of experience in operations, logistics, and manufacturing
management, Stokes will streamline Klean Kanteen processes and supply
chain, while safeguarding the sterling reputation of the company’s
products.
“As our manufacturing capabilities grow alongside demand for our
products, it is paramount that we maintain the integrity of our supply
chain and the quality of our products,” states Jim Osgood, CEO &
President of Klean Kanteen. “In joining our executive team, not only
does Martin fulfill a key role, but he brings with him an intimate
working knowledge of what it will take to refine operations across our
business and develop the next generation of our global supply chain.”
In his most recent role as vice president of operations at Biomed
Development, Stokes helped the company reduce backorders from over
$500,000 to less than $50,000. Before that, he served as president and
CEO of Burton Medical Products where he helped the company triple
profits in his first year. As director of manufacturing at Easton
sports, Stokes improved manufacturing throughput from 45 days to 7 days,
among other laudable achievements.
“I have witnessed few companies in my career that are driven by
values and ethics the way Klean Kanteen is,” states Stokes. “I’m honored
to be welcomed into a team that puts the important things first and I
look forward to assisting Klean Kanteen in furthering its mission.”
Stokes and his family currently reside in Simi Valley, California.
Originally from England, Stokes studied mechanical engineering before
moving to the U.S. in 1984.
