Huntington Beach, Calif. – January 31, 2015 – DC Shoes announced today
Bobby Meeks has been named their new Snow Marketing Director. Meeks
will lead the brand’s Snow category, directing the team, campaigns,
events and overall marketing strategy.

program,” said Jeff Taylor, Senior Vice President of Global Brand and
Marketing, DC Shoes. “His passion for the sport is undeniable and his
background as both an athlete and a marketer will be a huge asset to the
brand."

Meeks was previously the North America Brand Manager for Nike
Snowboarding, where he successfully managed and balanced an authentic
category voice toward both core and mainstream consumers. He was a key
contributor to Nike’s long-term vision and strategies in their
snowboarding category, executing seasonal marketing campaigns and
initiatives around the brand, athletes and product. In his time at
Nike, Meeks created, managed and executed progressive event concepts,
including Snakes & Hammers, a popular banked slopestyle contest.
Prior to his position at Nike, Meeks was a professional snowboarder from 1994-2005, known for his stand out video parts.
