Within the first 48 hours, the overwhelming support and generosity of fans, community, friends, and family have successfully helped us surpass our initial relief donation goal of matching every dollar raised through the KEEN Mercy Corps donation page up to $10,000 – with a total goal of raising $20,000. Thank you so much.
Yesterday, a friend and fan of KEEN, who would like to remain anonymous, committed an additional $10,000 to match the next $10,000 in contributions through the KEEN Mercy Corps fundraising page. So, once the $20,000 donation mark is reached, our collective efforts will help fund Mercy Corps with $40,000 for relief efforts.
“We set out with an initial goal of raising $10,000 for earthquake relief efforts and are incredibly humbled by this additional donation,” said Linda Balfour, brand marketing director at KEEN. “Every donation makes a difference, and we just want to thank everyone for their support.”

"Our team in Nepal has been working tirelessly to help their neighbors survive and communities recover,” said Graham Craft, VP, Corporate and Foundation Partnerships, Mercy Corps. “We're grateful for the support of KEEN and all our partners. They make it possible for Mercy Corps to meet immediate humanitarian needs, while planning for long-term recovery. KEEN’s matching gift challenge will inspire even more people to join our community of change-makers bringing help and hope to families in Nepal."
Again, KEEN and Mercy Corps can’t thank you enough for your thoughtfulness and support. It is our continued hope that you can help keep the momentum going and spread the word through your networks and outreach.
Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to talk to a KEEN representative.
