Trade Shows : Dates set for Scandinavian Sailboat Show

Dates have now been set for the new Scandinavian Sailboat Show in Gustavsberg, some 20 minutes by car outside of Stockholm city.

This new show, a successor to the Scandinavian Boat Show, will be open on three weekends in November, January and February.

The first opportunity for the public to see the boats on display will be November 17-18. All boats will be presented indoors, in halls close to the harbour where the Stockholm floating boat show (Allt på Sjön) is held in September.

“We will arrange a lot of interesting activities for the sailors during our opening days,” says Berndt

Lindquist at Bavaria importer Fabav, one of the companies behind the show.

The event will be held on the following three weekends:
November 17-18, theme “Sail”
January 12-13, theme “Technique and Rigging”
February 16-17, theme “Electronics and Equipment”

The Scandinavian Sailboat Show is being organised by Svenska Segelbåtsmässan AB, which is owned by a group of Swedish sailboat producers and importers.

Exhibitors will include Arcona Yachts, Bavaria, Bryggan i Väst (Hanse importer), Fabola Yachts, Finn Flyer, Jeanneau, Linjett and Nauticat.
