Octane Fitness wins first, second and third place in the competitive review of thirty-one ellipticals by Consumer Reports.

(PRWEB) February 05, 2013
After extensive testing, Consumer Reports in its February 2013 issue gave Octane Fitness’ Q37ci a top score among elliptical machines with heart rate programs; named the Q35c as a Best Buy and ranked it second place among ellipticals without heart rate programs; and scored the Q37c in third place for units without heart rate workouts.

“Winning first, second and third place in this competitive review of 31 ellipticals reinforces our relentless dedication to being the best in low-impact cardio equipment,” said Tim Porth, executive vice president of product development and marketing at Octane Fitness, LLC. “More than 60 Best Buy awards overall since 2003 fuels us to continue innovating.”

Also rated the best elliptical by Consumer Reports in its 2012 review, the Q37ci received high marks for its ergonomics, construction, heart-rate features and user safety; and it was praised for its versatile handgrips. This model is the top-selling Octane Fitness home elliptical, and was recently named one of Oprah’s Favorite Things 2012.

In the category of ellipticals without heart rate programs, Octane’s Q35c and Q37c received tie scores with leading rankings in quality ergonomics, ease of use and user safety.
