BMW R 1200 RT

As always, the acronym RT is an epitome of comfortable and dynamic travel on two wheels. Thanks to a new engine and a sleek profile, with the new edition of the R 1200 RT BMW Motorrad once again sets the benchmark perfect combination of comfortable ride and sporty dynamics.

The new engine is based on the Boxer engine in the BMW R 1200 GS . The engine delivers 92 kW (125 hp) at 7750 rev / min and reaches a peak torque of 125 Nm at 6500 r / min .

The two driving modes “Rain ” and ” Road” allow you to tailor the R 1200 RT for most road conditions. The driving mode “Dynamic ” lets find out the sporty side of the R 1200 RT , while Hill Start Control function facilitates the arrest and hill start .

Another novelty is the world supplied as an optional transmission electro assisted BMW Pro , available as an option . Schemes most important for driving, the transmission electro assisted BMW Pro allows you to shift up or shift without activating the clutch or the accelerator , thus contributing to greater comfort and at the same time fostering dynamism.
