Selk’bag USA, Inc. today announced it will create a line of Marvel character Selk’bags to be marketed starting in 2014. The bags will feature characters from Marvel’s popular Spider-Man and Avengers Super Hero franchises.
Much more than a sleeping bag, the Selk’bag® appeals to a wide variety of consumers wanting an exceptionally comfortable way to stay warm when away from their home bed. Selk’bag USA plans on leveraging the new products to introduce its innovative and patented sleepwear system to a new audience of Marvel fans.
“We are very excited for this project,” stated Philip Benson, President of Selk’bag USA. “The project represents a great opportunity to present our brand to a new market of customers.” Selk’bag had been marketed exclusively through traditional outdoor channels.
“Marvel has a strong track record with other sporting goods and outdoor brands, so we are very optimistic about this new line and feel it is a natural fit for us.” Benson continues. “Selk’bag is about creativity, friends, and expressive fun in the outdoors.”
Selk’bag USA plans on launching the first Marvel character Selk’bags® in Spring 2014 and will be focusing it’s initial efforts with Spider Man, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America designs.
Already the most versatile sleepwear system in the world thanks to its innovative design, Marvel by Selk’bag will feature key new features, a new anatomical and two-dimensional design and other upgraded details. A new marketing campaign is underway for the new line.
