Sport event : Tokyo Tower Lights Up to Celebrate The Launch of the Nike+ FuelBand SE in Japan

The Nike+ FuelBand is now available for the first time in Japan. 

On Nov. 9, Nike held an event at the iconic Tokyo Tower to celebrate the launch of the Nike+ FuelBand SE in Japan. The new Nike+ FuelBand SE builds on the iconic design of the original Nike+ FuelBand and delivers even more information and motivation to keep users moving.

The event featured live music performances from the band Fire Ball and DJ IZOH and included FuelBand challenges where participants wore the new Nike+ FuelBand SE during a series of sport-inspired activities to gain NikeFuel. Activities included climbing the Tokyo Tower's 600 stairs and shadow boxing with Japanese boxer Takashi Uchiyama to gain NikeFuel points.

To top off the event, the Tokyo Tower lit up the sky with green, yelllow, orange and red lights—all colors associated with the Nike+ FuelBand SE and fueled by the movement and energy of the participants.

The Nike+ FuelBand SE is now available in Japan at Nike stores and nike.com.  The Nike+ FuelBand SE comes in classic Black and Sport Pack colors of Volt, Pink Foil or Total Crimson.
