Primaloft, the Albany-based manufacturer of insulating fabrics, will
open its own sales and marketing office in charge of sales and marketing
in the eastern European and Russian markets, effective Jan. 1, 2014.
This move comes shortly after establishing own operations in the U.K.
and Scandinavia. The eastern business will be run by Bartosz Lassak who
has been with the company on a freelance basis for the past two and a
half years. He will report to Jochen Lagemann, managing director of
Primaloft Europe.
The 36-year-old Pole ran his own company, Escape 360,
which represented various brands in the region. This firm will now be
shut down to allow Lassak to fully concentrate on the development of
Primaloft in the region.
