Phoenix startup taking preorders for 2014 holiday season. To help finance the completion of their first order, Noochie Golf began a crowdfunding project through Kickstarter. Noochie Golf was invented by two young boys, launching a family business.

Phoenix Startup Launches Kickstarter Campaign

Phoenix, Arizona, 02/12/14 — Phoenix startup, Noochie Golf, has launched a Kickstarter campaign. Noochie Golf was formed when Phoenix mother, JoAnn LoBracco decided to make her children’s toy invention a reality.

    Her sons, five and six at the time, started making their own miniature golf courses after playing  mini-golf for the first time. JoAnn looked for a golf toy that offered a “build your own” creative side. There were none out there. She had her husband, Sal, make some drawings and filed patents.

    They incorporated under the name Noochie Golf LLC in 2013. They named it after their youngest son whose nickname is The Nooch,  he is now eight years old. The company created two prototypes in their garage. They had another prototype made from a plastic company. They applied the putting grass and took it to The Chicago Toy and Game Fair in November, 2013. The public loved it and they decided to move on to production.
