Fitness Industry Titan Heading Back to His Roots

Successful Entrepreneur John Leonesio to Spearhead RedLine Athletics Franchises

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--From Scandinavian Health Spa's to The Q, the Sports Club to Massage Envy, John Leonesio has known only one formula, a winning one. His success at Massage Envy, inventing the retail massage concept, which grew into a $300 million operation with 800 franchises awarded, took just six years. His current revolutionary chiropractic care model,

The Joint…a chiropractic place has cracked the Top 50 in Inc. Magazine’s 500 Fastest Growing Companies and is on a faster growth rate than Massage Envy. Recently, Leonesio, who has over 40 years in the health club industry, stepped out of daily management duties as CEO of The Joint and became Chairman of the Board.

Leonesio is now focused on his latest and perhaps greatest franchise model: RedLine Athletics. A revolutionary concept in sports specific training, RedLine Athletics has custom-designed training models, which enables young athletes to further develop skills in their chosen sport. Sports that range from baseball to basketball to football and beyond. Every athlete thrives under the guided instruction of RedLine’s professional trainers, many of whom were collegiate athletes or played pro ball.

“Most of the trainers at RedLine Athletics have all competed at the highest levels in their sport,” said Leonesio. “They not only know what it takes to get you to the top, but to keep you playing at the very highest level possible day in and day out. Our training regimen is unique, comprehensive and produces results.”

Founded by former National League baseball player Lyndsey Simmons, RedLine Athletics and its unique sports training concept has quickly revolutionized the industry. By offering a wide variety of sport-specific training sessions, RedLine Athletics is a cost-efficient and convenient sports training facility that offers its athletes evaluation, testing and sports development opportunities, with an emphasis on enhancing the athletic achievements of the junior player, ages 8–18. From major sports to recreational activities, RedLine Athletics has vastly improved the quality of its athletes and their performance.

The first RedLine Athletics franchise will open in Scottsdale, Arizona in February 2014.
RedLine Athletics is not a one-approach-fits-all type of training facility. It offers the ultimate in attention and quality of performance, and affords every athlete the opportunity to complete a training program that is totally their own. They put into motion a specialized program to develop core stability, speed improvement, running form, agility, acceleration and strength training. “Our prescribed formula is to have all our students learn what is essential to excel in their chosen sport, know their body’s capabilities, and convert it into real sport situations and movements,” said Leonesio.

Custom private, semi-private and group sports-specific and team training programs are available for all athletes regardless of age or skill level, and will quickly empower them to realize all they can be as an athlete.
