OutdoorGearLab.com Announces Avalanche Beacon Review Award Winners

Feb. 4, 2014 - CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- OutdoorGearLab.com revealed today the winners of the 2014 Editors' Choice awards for Best Avalanche Beacons. OutdoorGearLab Review Editor's picked the following winners after testing thirteen top products in Alaska, the Cascades and the Sierras. Feedback was collected from not only expert mountain guides and AIARE instructors but novaces as well to gain a well rounded perspective. Testing categories include; range, speed, fine search, features, multiple burials and single victim search.
