Longmont, CO – Deuter, manufacturer of high-quality, technical packs, announces its 2014 line of kid carriers has achieved a new standard of excellence: certification from the prestigious Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA).

Deuter launched its retooled line of Kid Comforts early this year. Models include the Kid Comfort 1, Kid Comfort 2, Kid Comfort 3, as well as one brand new pack in the collection: the Kid Comfort Air.

All four models have achieved JPMA certification, the gold-standard in safety certification for kids and baby products. Achieving JPMA certification means the products have been independently sample tested and verified as conforming to ASTM, state, federal and some retailer requirements.

“We’re extremely proud of our new Kid Comforts,” said Christian Mason, Director of Sales and Marketing at Deuter USA. “The JPMA certification reinforces what our dealers and customers already know – Deuter builds the most thoughtful, versatile and safe kid carriers in the outdoor market. We are even more confident in knowing that our kid carriers are among an elite class of products that carry the JPMA seal of approval.”

All of Deuter’s Kid Comforts feature a new frame design, providing utmost support for both child and adult. The four Kid Comforts – all designed with comfort and fit in mind – range in price from $199 for the Kid Comfort 1, the new Kid Comfort Air at $239 (with the breathable Aircomfort back system), to $299 for the Kid Comfort 3 (a full-featured model designed for all family adventures).

About JPMA

The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) is a national trade organization of more than 250 companies in the United States, Canada and Mexico. JPMA exists to advance the interests, growth and well-being of North American prenatal to preschool product manufacturers, importers and distributors marketing under their own brands to consumers. It does so through advocacy, public relations, information sharing, product performance certification and business development assistance conducted with appreciation for the needs of parents, children and retailers. In 1976, JPMA established an extensive certification program to help guide parents and caregivers toward purchasing juvenile products that are built with safety in mind.
