Timbuk2 CEO Mike Wallenfels Resigns; Board Chairman Ken Pucker Named Interim CEO

SAN FRANCISCO (March 6, 2014) – Timbuk2, The original San Francisco pioneer of made-in-America customization and creator of urban mobility solutions, today announces that Mike Wallenfels resigned from his position as Chief Executive Officer. Wallenfels will continue to work with Timbuk2’s Board of Directors and senior management team through the end of March.

Timbuk2 Board Chairman Ken Pucker will act as CEO with the support of Chief Operating Officer Tony Meneghetti and the senior management team while a search is conducted for Wallenfels’ replacement. Ken has been an investor and board member at Timbuk2 for more than seven years and will continue to drive an aggressive growth path for the brand and business.

Wallenfels plans to pursue personal adventures and work as an independent consultant for outdoor-related companies. He joined Timbuk2 in 2009 from Mountain Hardwear Inc., where he held the position as CEO.
