(NASDAQ: ZUMZ), a leading specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, today announced that total net sales for the four-week period ended May 3, 2014 increased 17.6% to $50.6 million, compared to $43.0 million for the four-week period ended May 4, 2013.

The Company’s comparable store sales increased 8.2% for the four-week period compared to a comparable store sales increase of 4.6% in the year ago period.
