Design will take center stage from September 1-5, 2014, at the Design Summer Camp, in Anglet
(Southwestern France). The call for projects is an integral part of the
2014 Design Summer Camp, an event co-organized by Outdoor Sports
Valley, EuroSIMA, and ESTIA Entreprendre. This international event will
bring together designers, engineers, university professors,
professionals, and other experts, as well as students and budding
designers in order to discuss the role design plays in the Action Outdoor Sports industry.
A call for "design and innovation" projects has now been launched prior to the event. This contest serves to foster
and develop your company's technical innovation and/or ecologically
focused projects in the area of Action Outdoor Sports (starting a company, diversification, creating a new product, etc.).
The jury will select 3 winners to be awarded the following prizes:
- 8000 € in financial aid,
- An invitation to the Design Summer Camp to present their project and receive their prize during the event's gala evening,
- OSV and EuroSIMA will provide strategic assistance,
-
Free access for three months to the Estia Entreprendre business
incubator (located in Bidart) to help structure the project's technical,
financial, and legal feasibility, as well as to develop a marketing and
sales plan,
- Networking,
- Free membership to either EuroSIMA or OSV.
The 2014 Innovation CFP is open to legal persons or entities located in the Aquitaine or Rhône-Alpes regions.
