Business news : Bellwether is rolling into the European market

Bellwether, a Californian bikewear brand based in Long Beach, is reaching out for the European market, picking - to start with – well-established distributors in Central Europe. In Germany, the recently selected distributor is Thaler Sports, while the Austrian market is covered by Trendsport Peter Künstl. In Switzerland, the company Velok will be in charge to take care of the local market. According to Thorsten Frahm, the manager in charge of Bellwether’s business in Europe, the collection will hit the stores in spring/summer 2013 – right in time for the brand’s 40th anniversary. Bellwether is part of Profile Design, a brand already well-known for its cycle apparel designed for street racing and triathlon.
