Carbon Expedition Vario 4 – 2 times AWARDED                                         
This pole is the winner-product and statement for perfect combination of lightweight, small packaging size, stability and holding power. Featuring the already proven Power Lock II adjusting mechanism the pole can be adjusted from 115 – 145 cm (45,3-57,1 inch). The new ingenious folding mechanism & technical edge to edge construction is extremely reliable and the pole cannot suck in. One striking feature is the Titanal Rocksleeve covering the lower segments which protects the carbon against breakage. The brand new Ice-slope basket, which can be optionally replaced into a winterbasket, adapts perfectly to the terrain.
For 2013 Komperdell set the bar still a bit higher with a brand new foldable trekking pole CARBON ULTRALITE that starts at a weight under 170g (6 oz) and folds down to less than 39 cm (15,35 inch) for easy stowing.
