On November 19, 2013, Horny Toad announced that it has joined 1% for the Planet,
the world’s largest environmental network. The lifestyle clothing
company will kick off its new membership with a collaboration running on
Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6.
Horny Toad is
well-known for its “look good, feel good, do good” motto and ongoing
commitment to being the best corporate citizens at every opportunity.
Since its founding, the company has made it a priority to give 1% of
revenue to environmental and social issues. Through its 1% for the
Planet membership, the brand will commit 1% of annual sales to highly
effective environmental organizations and programs such as Search for
Adventure of Search, Inc., Mountainfilm in Telluride, Textile Exchange,
The Conservation Alliance, Leave No Trace, and other organizations
aligned with the company’s mission.
To celebrate its new
membership, on Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6, Horny Toad
will donate 10% of each purchase made on www.hornytoad.com directly to Adventurers and Scientists for Conservation. If new customers use the promo code GETOUTSIDE, a full 20% of the sale will be donated.
