Timbuk2 Extends Contractual Partnerships in Korea and Japan

©SAN FRANCISCO (November 11, 2014) - Timbuk2, a San Francisco original and industry-leading designer of urban gear, announces the extension of current contracts with distinguished Korean and Japanese distribution partners; Anvil SNH Co. for Korea and Itochu Fashion System for Japan.

“Anvil has embraced our consumer-centric approach and brought our brand to market in much the same way we do in the US: through Timbuk2 mono-brand stores, multi-brand stores, wholesale and online,” stated Timbuk2 International Sales Director Nicole Chabot.  “We are excited to further our partnership with Anvil as they have proven keen insight into the forward-looking, youthful, and creative market emerging in Korea.”

As one of the brand’s first international markets, Timbuk2 has been available in Japan for ten years. Itochu Fashion System, a leading fashion lifestyle branding company has expanded the brand representation among their strong partnerships with Japanese retailers. They also launched timbuk2.jp with a focus on sharing brand content with Japanese consumers and offering the latest products in the trend-forward market.
