After the end of February, Thomas Keppler will leave Uhlsport, the
German team sport company, at his own request to accept a new
professional opportunity.
The 45-year-old manager has served the company
for no less than 17 years, of which the last six saw him in the
position of managing director in charge of sales, marketing and product
management.
His workload will be shared by the other members of the
executive board: Günter Daiss, Karsten Dormann and Peter Kuhl.
In his
years at the top of Uhlsport, it has been his task to give a new profile
to the Uhlsport label itself and the the two others with the
group: Kempa, the specialty brand of handball products, and the licensed
Spalding brand of balls.
