Kahtoola, a leader in winter traction gear, announced today its new
partnership with the GORE-TEX® brand for the 6th Annual Agassiz Uphill
Race at the Arizona Snowbowl in Flagstaff, Ariz. W. L. Gore &

event on February 9, 2013.

The Kahtoola Agassiz Uphill race involves
150 racers participating in a 2.5-mile round trip course that winds up
and down (an approximate 2,000-foot elevation gain/loss) the groomed
slopes of the Arizona Snowbowl. Racers use the traction of their choice –

Camp Colton is a unique residential
environmental education program for sixth grade children that is owned
and operated by the Flagstaff Unified School District. The program was
created to increase children’s understanding of science and the
