Business news : Descente Adds Hampshire as US Sales Rep

LAYTON, UTAH, October 28, 2013 – Descente, designers of premium ski apparel for those who value quality and technology, today announced that Hope Hampshire has joined the company as a sales rep for the United States.

A ski industry veteran, Hampshire has over 15 years of skiwear sales experience in the New England territory. Hope comes to Descente having previously been a skiwear buyer and merchandiser for many years, prior to becoming a sales representative. Growing up in the ski industry and her father being the president of SIA (’65-’67), Hope has a long-standing industry relationship.

According to Hampshire, Descente’s brand is iconic in the industry. “I have long admired Descente’s endless commitment to outstanding quality, constant innovation and global influence. I am thrilled to represent the Descente philosophy of building steadfast, enjoyable, and successful relationships with our retail partners and growing the brands authentic position.”

As a member of the North American sales rep team, Hampshire will continue to bring her knowledge of the ski industry and her years of experience to the table.
