La Sportiva, makers of the
world’s finest mountain products, has partnered
with Eventum, LLC for sales of the brand’s products. Founded in 2013 by Chip Parker, Eventum will represent La Sportiva in the Southeastern U.S.

will help us grow our business in the Southeast,” says Mark Day, La Sportiva
North America vice president of sales & marketing.

Chip and his team will provide excellent service to our dealers and seek out
new opportunities. We’re looking forward to this relationship solidifying La
Sportiva’s position in the market in an important area of the country.”
Eventum is comprised of industry
veterans Chip Parker, Matt Ginley, Todd Combs and Karen Harper. Bringing a
wealth of combined experience and knowledge of specialty retail, Parker’s
resume includes over 20 years of operational management, buying and sales.
Ginley adds 10 years experience working as a sales rep in the Southeastern
region. Combs served as a buyer in specialty retail as well as a former shop
owner in the region. Harper’s experience includes time at both REI and High
Country Outfitters.

stronger partnerships between retailers and La Sportiva,” states Parker. “By
providing top-notch service, we will help deliver the most innovative and
profitable products to the customers of the Southeast.”
