Arc'teryx Store Grand Opening Event November 1st & 2nd in Portland

Arc’teryx has chosen Portland, Vancouver’s Pacific Northwest neighbour, for its third fully-branded flagship retail store in the U.S. Local customers will now have access to the brand’s complete line of products without crossing the border, starting with the current 2014/15 Winter collection.


The 2,890 square-foot store will open to the public on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. and is located at Suite 605 NW 23rd Avenue, at NW Hoyt Street.

As part of the in-store experience, customers will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the company’s innovative and forward-thinking design process via special engagement areas. 
“Arc’teryx is a true Pacific Northwest brand. We share the same landscape, weather, and importantly, an inherent love for the outdoors.

In celebration of the grand opening, Arc’teryx is hosting a Crowd the Store contest, starting with a scavenger hunt in Portland’s downtown core. On Saturday, October 25, locals will search for one Arc’teryx chalk bag with a $250 gift card in a location that highlights Arc’teryx’s products and commitment to outdoor lifestyles. The bag will contain instructions on how to redeem the prize and potentially increase the prize pool to up to $5,000, including a trip for two to Whistler – near the Arc’teryx’s Vancouver home.

All Arc’teryx product design, research and development is undertaken in-house at the company’s head office in North Vancouver, British Columbia.

Arc’teryx opened a 2,300-square-foot store in Seattle last fall, a 2,100-square-foot store in its hometown Whistler and a 2,565 square-foot store in Minneapolis this fall.
