Tern Bicycles Heads to Grand Central Station with Taiwan Excellence Showcase

Oct. 20, 2014 - LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Urban transport specialist, Tern, is in New York City this week, Oct. 21-25, exhibiting and presenting with the Taiwan Excellence Showcase (http://www.grandcentralterminal.com/event/taiwan-excellence-showcase/2145440266) which will take place on the west side of Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Station. The event is presented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and aims to spotlight the state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilites and cutting edge products born in Taiwan.

The Taiwan Excellence Showcase is a free interactive event that will allow people of all ages to experiment with innovative products that are produced in Taiwan. Tern Bicycles will be on display and available to demo among hundreds of state-of-the-art technology and design innovations in products related to lifestyle, fitness, consumer electronics, and security.

Steve Boyd, GM of Tern Bicycles in North America, will deliver a short speech about Tern Bicycles’ design and functionality on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 1:45 p.m.

Tern will highlight the Taiwan Excellence Award-winning Verge X10 (http://www.ternbicycles.com/us/bikes/verge-x10) 20” folding bike that has earned a reputation for being super light and super fast. 
 
Tern will also display its sister brand’s BioLogic PostPump 2.0 (http://www.thinkbiologic.com/products/postpump-20-seatpost), a high-capacity floor pump for bicycles that is integrated inside a seatpost.
