OOFOS Names Gendreau-Flynn As its New President

COHASSET, MA. – OOFOS, a pioneer in the category of recovery footwear, has named Deborah Gendreau-Flynn to the position of President.

Gendreau-Flynn most recently served as the Vice President of Sales for Sperry Top-Sider where she spent the past seven years helping to drive Sperry beyond a boat shoe business into a global, nautical lifestyle brand.

She brings that same forward vision to OOFOS.

“I’m thrilled to be joining this team,” said Gendreau-Flynn of her new role at OOFOS. “What they’ve been able to accomplish the past three years is truly inspiring. I’m looking forward to working with the team and building off of the foundation they have created.”

OOFOS has generated strong brand awareness within the run specialty market and has also enjoyed recent growth in the comfort shoe market. Gendreau-Flynn said she’d like to see the brand solidify its positioning in those markets with additional brand awareness and strategic sales efforts that will allow the brand to make inroads into additional channels of distribution.

“Deb brings a track record of helping lead and build strong brands and organizations in the footwear industry,” said OOFOS founder Lou Panaccione.

Gendreau-Flynn said she believes the company’s positioning;  “To Make Yoo Feel Better” has a broad consumer appeal and will be an asset for the brand as the company begins to speak to a wider audience.
