Buyer Runo Gillholm operates Gill Nortec Marine AB in Harestad south of Kungalv. Nord West and Najad will operate under a new company, reports Bohusläningen.
- We're in the midst of the holiday season right now and things like this process takes some time. But certainly it will be hiring in the future, says liquidator Fredrik Tengström to the newspaper.

About Nord West and Najad:
Nord west and Najad is a Swedish manufacturer of Nord West motorboats from 37-56 ft and Najad sailing yachts from 35-57 ft. The company was founded by entrepreneur Benny Martinsson in 1985. After several years as a contract sailing yachts builder he wanted a brand of his own. Year 1989 he purchased the brand name Nord West from a Norwegian company and continued the boatbuilding heritage from Orust. In 2011 the company aquired the sailing boat yard Najadvarvet AB. The company employes over 130 people and have its own laminating factory as well as wood work shop.
