Open Air Dynamics, the parent company of Tahoe SUP and Odyssey SUP, announces the addition of SeasonFive, a technical outdoor apparel company, to its lineup of flagship brands. In the licensing deal, SeasonFive will continue to be responsible for product design and development with founder Mike Fischer at the helm, while product distribution, sales and marketing will be supported by Open Air Dynamics.
Founded in 2010 and based in Breckenridge, Colorado, SeasonFive offers an assortment of technical layers, ranging from hydrophobic activewear, to insulation layers for watersports, to fully featured rain jackets. SeasonFive designs gear that solves problems, like its unique waterproof/breathable arm and leg sleeves with patent-pending Atmos 1.0 fabric, or the Pack-Pass system on the Crestone 2.5 jacket, which allows a backpack hip belt to pass through and inside the jacket.
Nate Brouwer, the owner of Open Air Dynamics, and Fischer have been friends and colleagues for over a decade. The collaboration between the brands will elevate the product design and technology across all three brands, ultimately benefiting consumers.
“I have watched Mike’s career as a designer blossom creatively and technically with the development of intellectual property and new materials,” said Brouwer. “His out-of-the-box thinking and product development at SeasonFive will elevate the SUP accessory market.”
