Chaos-CTR Headwear sponsors most esteemed name in winter sports film for 65th anniversary and U.S. tour

Steamboat Springs, CO -- Chaos Headwear with CTR - extreme winter headwear protection - is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2014 Warren Miller film series featuring Chaos athlete and Warren Miller emcee Chris Anthony.

No Turning Back kicks off its tour in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 18th, 2014. National tour screenings will be sweeping the nation from October to December, visiting Southwest locations in both Arizona and Texas, over 15 California locations, the Pacific Northwest, and the Midwest. Look for Chaos Hats throughout the tour, and register to win prizes and big raffle swag at the Paramount Theater venue in Denver, November 20th-22nd.

Anthony, who brought us the esteemed "Climb to Glory, The Legends of the 10th Mountain Division.” documentary film, is the honorary emcee for over 50 No Turning Back events nationwide. Anthony, recognized globally as a pro skier and ski extreme guide, has traveled as a member of the Warren Miller Film Team for the last twenty-five years. Anthony also runs his own youth initiative program, (Chris Anthony Youth Initiative), whose mission is to improve the quality of life for youth through introducing them to educational enrichment opportunities.

“No Turning Back will be the 65th WME film release and will this season pay homage to the past 65 years of mountain culture and adventure filmmaking that has lead WME to every end of the winter world. They're taking a legacy that dates back to before skis had edges and mountains had condos and they're running with it everywhere – from the steepest peaks around the globe and back to the Mom and Pop hills that define skiing and riding,” states Isaac Harris, Manager of Partnerships & Strategic Alliances

Warren Miller’s annual film marks the beginning of colder weather, winter exploration, and premier cinematography. The film will take you to, Niseko, Japan, the Swiss Alps, Montana, France, and more. This year the athletes profiled include the likes of Sierra Quitiquit, Rob Kingwill, Ingrid Backstrom, Oystein Aasheim, Seth Wescott, and a variety of fresh new talent. Since Miller began creating films in 1949, the films have profiled the best on snow, from Josh Bibby, Tyler Ceccanti carving down Mount Olympus in Greece or Kaylin Richardson, breaking trail in Norway. No Turning Back launches the latest series of fresh winter tracks.

“Everywhere we go, Warren Miller Entertainment finds people who have dedicated their lives to the mountains,” says Producer Josh Haskins. “Every location we shoot at, from the smallest local hills to the top of Alaska's Chugach, speaks to skiers and snowboarders because, at the end of the day, all we need are some steep slopes and some snow to cover them.”

Attending a Warren Miller film offers moviegoers a chance to win Chaos headwear, ski vacations, prizes and gear, as well as opportunities to meet the athletes featured in the film. All attendees gain access to exclusive resort and retail savings from Warren Miller’s numerous partners offering unbeatable values.
