Schoeller® featured in the launch of NINOX’s new menswear line

Boulder, CO October, 1st 2014- NINOX features Schoeller®’s innovative textiles in the launch of their Fall Winter ’14 collection. NINOX incorporates the highly technical NanoSphere® finish as well as the all-in-one schoeller®-WB-400 soft-shell fabric in their men’s outerwear line debuting October 2014.

NINOX is led by Co-Founders Greg Casals and Allie Thielens. Based in Boulder, Colorado at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the robust active lifestyle provides the perfect home base for NINOX. The company draws inspiration through personal experiences from the outdoors and traveling.  NINOX designs clothes that are fashionable, functional, and durable.

Ninox is a genus of owls composed of 30 species. The owl is strong and beautiful and a bit elusive.  The name Ninox bridges the idea of being active yet also refined.  It is an idea that is cohesive with the founders’ mission and apparent in their designs.

The Fall Winter 14’ collection will be available direct to consumer through their website www.ninox.cc The brand is scheduled to release additional men’s items by the end of the year.

NINOX uses schoeller®-WB-400, a wool bonded with luxury-soft fleece, for The Bennett jacket.  schoeller®-WB-400 soft-shell fabric is great for almost any condition and is extremely comfortable and durable. The collar linings and trims incorporate a schoeller® designed downproof fabric with NanoSphere® finish for the added bonus of repelling dirt, sweat, and water. The Bennett is pictured below.

The Stratton interprets a quilted and insulated design in a refined look while still being as warm, tough, and technical as any winter jacket. It is produced out of a microfiber, downproof, rain-tested schoeller® fabric finished with NanoSphere® technology.  The Stratton is pictured below, also available in black.

NanoSphere® is known as the best and longest-lasting DWR in the Outdoor Industry.  It keeps fabrics dry and clean by biomimicing the function of certain leaves and plants that doesn’t allow water droplets to adhere to their surfaces.  By creating a highly structured surface on the textile that doesn’t affect the feel or breathability, water, dirt and other substances cannot attach to the fabric and can be simply rinsed off with a little water.
