The Overmarine Group continues its expansion process by appointing Danilo Magnisi as the new European Sales Manager
The
new Sales Manager will work on selecting suitable business partners
throughout Europe, flanking Francesco Frediani, Overmarine Group
Commercial Director, in his work of developing and consolidating the
sales and promotion network throughout the world.
Danilo
Magnisi, who is originally from Livorno and has built up considerable
experience abroad, has been working in the nautical sector for years. He
brings with him in-depth experience built up in various shipyards in
Italy, as well as excellent knowledge of the market.
Maurizio
Balducci, Overmarine Group CEO asserts: “We are certain that Danilo’s
contribution will be decisive in continuing the work of strengthening
the Overmarine Group and Mangusta brand on our traditional market, that
of Europe.”
The
Overmarine Group was founded in 1985 by the Balducci family, still at
the head of the company, and builds luxury maxi open and displacement
yachts bearing the Mangusta and Mangusta Oceano brands, as well as
Effebi branded peacekeeping and coastguard ships.
With
over 300 yachts sold to date, this deeply traditional company has
pioneered the construction of state-of-the-art maxi Maxi Opens which
perfectly combine innovation and technology, high quality, luxury and
artisan features, a top performance and safety, spacious areas and on
board comfort, Italian style and made-to-measure interiors.
The
Mangusta Owner enjoys the exclusive ownership of a unique, reliable,
quality object, the result of over 25 years’ specialisation within the
Group which have made it an international leader today.
The
current Mangusta range features 10 Maxi Opens, from the 72 to the 205,
and the Mangusta 165, the ninth unit of which has just been sold, is
currently the fastest open in the world.
To
the Maxi Opens, a new displacement yachts range which has enabled
Overmarine Group to enter a different market segment, has been added:
the Mangusta Oceano line. Mangusta Oceano 46, a 3-deck displacement
yacht is currently under construction and during the next Monaco Yacht
Show a new project will be unveiled.
The Overmarine Group stretches out over 10 production facilities in the areas of Viareggio, Massarosa, Massa and Pisa, Tuscany, totaling
around 190,000m2 of indoor and outdoor areas. Moulding of the ships in
composite materials is carried out by one of the companies in the Group.
It also has its own wharf, with a landing stage equipped for final
after sales layover and preparation in the port of Viareggio.
The
company has premises in Fort Lauderdale, USA, too, and a network of
dealers strategically distributed all over the world which guarantees
comprehensive before and after sales assistance.
