Portland, Or (January 28, 2014): The 25th anniversary of Bonfire seemed like the perfect occasion to connect the two originators of skate and snow, Bonfire Founder Brad Steward and Fourstar
Art Director, Andy Jenkins, around a unique piece of outerwear. The
result of their friendship and design work is a Capsule Collection that
connects two creative cultures through two creative pioneers in their
respective sports.
Said Brad Steward of the collection, “Andy and our Design Director
did the real work, I just made sure Andy stayed true to who he is and
tried to honor the process of working with a friend who is one of the
greatest skate designers alive.”
Jenkins created four pieces for the Capsule collection. The first is a
moto-inspired jacket featuring a custom interior print, photo-processed
with a vintage dot-matrix look. The water resistant Bonfire X Fourstar
Jacket features a 2.5L brushed Oxford outer shell with fully sealed
seams, removable hood, snap hem adjustments, and zippered cuffs.
Of the Moto-Jacket Jenkins said, “I’ve ridden motorcycles for most of
my life, from dirt bikes on Wyoming trails and racing MX in Southern
California to riding a cafe bike into Mexico. So when Brad asked me to
design a jacket for a Bonfire X Fourstar collaboration, a moto-styled
jacket was a given.
To work with acclaimed brands, Bonfire and Fourstar,
has been an honor. I hope you all dig it – whether you ride bikes or
not!”
The second piece, the Morris Jacket, is for the rider who demands the
same Bonfire X Fourstar street-style look with on and off-hill
versatility. The Morris is a denim coach’s style outerwear jacket with
10K/8K performance, a fleece lining, and powder skirt to seal out winter
chills.
For city shredding and warmer on-hill days, the Bonfire X Fourstar
short sleeve cotton Moto Tee and Motorcycle Club canvas ball cap
compliment the capsule collection with understated style.
The capsule celebrates the heritage, individual style, and
performance of two like-minded brands and is available Fall/Winter 2014
at Bonfire retailers.

relationships would be something brand new in skateboard apparel. The
evolution of the people and the line has grown into something they are
both proud of. The diversity of the current team and the product make
this brand what it is today, an evolution of that original team.
Bonfire Snowboarding has been handcrafting
quality-riding gear for nearly a quarter century at the base of the
Cascade Mountain Range. In an industry filled with uniformity, we pride
ourselves on being unique. Our product is finely tuned for you-built to
