Business news :One Way Sport is seeking a new strategic partner

The owners of One Way Sport have started negotiations on a new ownership structure to obtain synergies in production, distribution and strategic processes, to secure the Finnish company’s position as a leader in Nordic sports, and to improve the overall organization.

One Way has been developing very well in spite of the poor winter 2011/12 season, thanks in part to its diversification into skis, boots and apparel for cross-country ski. It should close this year with positive results and a sales increase of 40 percent in the Nordic ski segment.

Separately, One Way has signed a sponsorship agreement for the FIS Nordic World Championships that will take place in Falun, Sweden, in 2015, and in Lahti, Finland, in 2017.
