Business news : Distributor yachts Rodriguez Group reduced its loss in 2012

Rodriguez Group reduced its net loss in 2011-2012 to 32.02 million euros instead of 34.83 million during the year ended 30 September. Still restructuring, the distributor of Cannes luxury yachts is the return to equilibrium of operations for the year to come.

In 2011-2012, the current operating loss rose to 21 million euros against 10.28 million and sales fell 22% to € 77.8 million, due to a massive destocking hand vessels.

Turning to large yachts, more luxurious and more expensive, Rodriguez also reduced many costs (rent, maintenance, insurance, fees, transport and travel) and fixed costs of personnel. In the end, the operating costs have been reduced by a quarter.
