Brunton hired Erron Sorensen as its new president, signifying the
beginning of a newly focused strategy for the future of Brunton Outdoor
Group. His efforts will be crucial to implementing strategic marketing
and sales practices for Brunton in specialty markets worldwide.
A veteran of the outdoor industry with nearly 20 years in sales,
marketing and product management under his belt, Sorensen joins Brunton
with years of experience working with brands like Danner, Lacrosse, Dr.
Martens and Williamson-Dickie.
“Erron is extremely talented in the activities and industries we
represent, with a comprehensive understanding of our core business and
the marketplace,” said John Walbrecht, president of Fenix Outdoor North
America, parent company of Brunton. “Erron’s professionalism and work
ethic is a great compliment to our mission here at Brunton Outdoor.”
‘I am really looking forward to Brunton’s next 100 years and building
on the incredible foundation and heritage the brand has, while
continuing to push into new areas that enhance the outdoor experience,”
said Sorensen. “I am also looking forward to using the latest Brunton
products with my family as we relocate to our new sales and marketing
office in Gunbarrel, Colorado and enjoy all of the recreational
opportunities the Rocky Mountains have to offer.”
