Foot Locker opened its 100th store in France at the end of
last year, according to sport-guide.com.
Foot Locker had only 83 stores
in France at the end of 2011, and the American group has indicated its
wish to expand its network all over Europe.
Another foreign player, JD Sports Fashion, ended up 2012 with ten stores in France. They are all
good competition for Courir, the French chain of athletic footwear
stores owned by the Go Sport group, which continued to grow in 2012 for
the third year in a row.
