Business news ( Flash ) : Fila Names New Europe Distributor

Footwear International Distribution has been granted the exclusive rights to distribute footwear under the Fila brand in most parts of Europe. The territory in which the Dutch company will take care of the brand is the same for which Dosenbach-Ochsner, the large Swiss sporting goods and shoe retailer owned by Deichmann, holds the license for Fila.

Dosenbach-Ochsner basically covers Europe excluding the U.K., Ireland, Ukraine and Russia. Footwear International Distribution is a fully-owned subsidiary of Unlimited Sports Group (USG), the large Dutch retailer, wholesaler and licensee in the sporting goods and fashion sectors, which markets brands such as Tenson, Helly Hansen, Champion, Le Coq Sportif and others.
