Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) is excited to announce the appointment of James Frinak as its new Product Developer and Designer. Taking charge of the hammock company’s Research and Development efforts, Frinak will be responsible for all aspects of product design and development, as well as sourcing and purchasing.
After receiving his BA at UNC Chapel Hill and studying Chinese at East China Normal University in Shanghai, Frinak comes to ENO with more than 10 years of outdoors industry experience with Niner Bikes and Mock Orange Bikes, and 3 years of consumer electronics involvement. Most recently, he worked as the product development manager for Targus.
“After a short hiatus from the outdoor industry, I am ecstatic to join the team at ENO and to help to continue to deliver world class hammocking products,” said Frinak. “Compared to consumer electronics, I’m excited to be a part of the homegrown innovation that is the essence of the outdoor industry. Moving from Los Angeles, CA to North Carolina for the position, Lane Nakaji, General Manager for ENO believes Frinak is jumping on board at just the right time for the company.

Aside from designing and developing innovative new outdoors products, Frinak enjoys mountain biking, photography and travel.
