Business news : Lacoste acquires Fusalp

Fusalp , company headed by Joel Gleyze since 1984 , recently changed shareholders. Sophie and Philippe Lacoste took over the brand up to 77.6% and Fauvet Alexander , former executive director of the Lacoste brand , up to 8% , the remaining 12.4% held since June 2013, by policyholders Club Deal hosted by the management company Midi Capital.

Philippe Lacoste became Chairman of the Board, director and Sophie Lacoste Alexander Fauvet director and CEO FUSALP . Joel Gleyze became Deputy Director General , in charge of the transition.

Established in 1952 by a family of tailors in Annecy ( France ) who had approached the development of winter sports, Fusalp brand is naturally included at the beginning of its history in a world of fashion to develop its collections.

The invention of a typical ski pant marked the beginning of an adventure that led the company to develop clothing where the expertise of the suit, in both sections , materials or style , has always been respected . Since its inception, FUS (water) (from) ALP (s) is not a concept but a marketing company with a golf , heritage , expertise and style that are permanent pillars of the brand and also irrigate well as product development approach to markets and consumers.

Convinced that the loan was to be transposed to the world of skiing, the creators of the brand shaped DNA of the company where the seam holding a dominant position and today remains the essential element of identity and Fusalp of differentiation .
