Eberspacher UK launch at the London
Boat Show EasyStart Call app, an advanced, easy to use and
convenient pre-heater operation for boat owners. In
addition the EasyStart Call app can alert owners when the
temperature where their boat is moored, is due to fall below 5
degrees centigrade.
The EasyStart Call is supplied with a small
neat interface unit that sits behind the scenes and by utilising
the free Eberspacher Iphone or Android app: – EasyStart Call, the
onboard heater can be operated independently of range and
distance. The app can be used to set start and running times
as well as other functions by voice menu and text message.
The app can be used to control up to 10 boats.
The EasyStart Call app turns a smart phone
touch screen into an intuitive menu interface. The app is available
free from the Apple App store as well as from Android stores and
can be instantly downloaded. The EasyStart Call can be used for all
common types of heaters and with the Eberspacher Airtronic models,
as well as the fixed temperature controller.
The new EasyStart Call’s simplicity is in its
ease of operation as well as:

- Operation also possible using telephones or standard phones
- Feedback via voice output or text message
- Up to three different timers programmable
- No additional control element required in the boat interior
- Temperature control for air heaters

Boat owners that have the latest-generation of
Eberspächer Airtronic or Hydronic pre-heater in their boat, can
retrofit EasyStart Call, as long as they have a smartphone with one
of the corresponding operating systems; iOS version 4.2 or higher
or the latest Android phones.
Additionally, mobile or landline telephone can
be used if it supports transmission of dual-tone multi-frequency
(DTMF) signals or is capable of sending text messages.
