Business news :Birmingham's Power Force Apparel Opens First Store

Power Force Apparel, the Birmingham 5 Alabama, USA ), AL performance apparel and footwear start-up, announced that it has opened its first brick-and-mortar store in Birmingham's The Summit shopping center.

The store opened in late November in an 800-square-foot space beside Urban Cookhouse, according to a release.

According to Alabama Live, the company, founded in 2010 by CEO Guy Savage, also plans to open six more stores in 2013, including a store in Opry Mills Mall in Nashville slated to open March 1. Other locations include Atlanta, Chicago and New York.

The stores, according to Alabama Live will serve as venues for monthly events that promote health, nutrition and the Power Force brand. Power Force has 13 different shoe lines that are sold online at www.powerforceapparel.com.
