Stromer, the
Swiss-born manufacturer of innovative, fashionable, and superiorly
engineered electric bicycles, launches the new ST1 to the U.S. market
today with a sweepstakes: to celebrate Stromer’s arrival in the States,
Stromer is giving one fortunate winner the chance to ride away on a new ST1 Elite.
Stromer offers
two editions of the ST1 – the Platinum and Elite. Both are brains,
beauty, and brawn wrapped into one good-looking and functional package.
The Swiss e-bikes feature a seamlessly integrated battery inside the
frame, which can be easily charged both inside or outside the bike. A
brushless motor in the hub of the rear wheel provides high efficiency
and an unprecedented amount of power, while minimizing maintenance and
wear and tear on parts. Four separate, readily accessible riding modes
conveniently match motor output to rider effort to tackle diverse
terrain, make daily commutes seem nearly effortless, and make daily
fitness a joy. A carbon fork, disc brakes, and balanced torque keep
these electric bikes rolling smoothly.
The 9-speed ST1
Elite has an MSRP of $3,499 and is equipped with a 500-watt continuous
output motor that can reach a top speed of 20 MPH with a range of 20-40
miles. The $3,999 MRSP, 27-speed ST1 Platinum has a 500-watt continuous
output motor and can hit up to 30 MPH with a range of 25-50 miles. The
Platinum model is also available in a step-through frame version, for
easier access. The slick design of the e-bikes looks much like an
ordinary urban bicycle, and is an ideal way to commute, stay fit, have
fun, and smile.
How can you win –
and be one of the first in the U.S. to own – an ST1 Elite e-bike? If
you are a resident in the continental U.S. with a phone number and email
address, enter at http://www.stromer.ch/ch-en/giveaway before the contest ends on May 17, 2013.
One lucky winner will be randomly drawn and contacted via phone and
email. Enter now and see why actor Leonardo Di Caprio, and 2011 Tour de
France winner Cadel Evans both ride a Stromer.
