Brand Ambassador Dr. David Holmes, Who Works with Olympic and NFL
Teams, Will be on Hand to Demonstrate Benefits of Dr. Cool Wraps
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (February 24, 2014) – Dr. Cool Recovery-On-The-Go wraps™ (www.drcoolrecovery.com),
the first sports recovery product combining ice and compression in one
flexible wrap, will debut at the Arnold Sports Festival (arnoldsportsfestival.com),
bodybuilding and fitness expo in Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 28 – March 2.
Brand ambassador Dr. David Holmes, who has worked with athletes from the
Chinese Olympic track team and numerous professional athletes in the
NFL, including players from the Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos,
Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle
Seahawks, will be at the Dr. Cool booth (1923) to share his expertise
and demonstrate product benefits.
“Dr. Cool wraps are the ideal solution for Arnold Sports Festival
attendees, especially body builders and fitness devotees who view
exercise and training as a must every day,” said Nick Skally, marketing
director for Coolcore. “With more than 175,000 fitness enthusiasts and
18,000 athletes, this festival is a great avenue to expand the awareness
of our new Dr. Cool wraps.”
Dr. Cool wraps can be used as a dry compression wrap to support and
protect various body parts during competitions and workouts, or frozen
to combine cold and compression to reduce swelling and speed recovery
mid or post workout. Powered by Coolcore’s patented chemical-free
cooling material, Dr. Cool wraps are available in three sizes, 3” x 25”,
4” x 50” and 6” x 50” to accommodate any body part. Arnold Sports
Festival attendees will be given product demonstrations and samples of
Dr. Cool Recovery-On-The-Go wraps at the Dr. Cool booth.
“The trend of immobilization after an injury is a thing of the past,”
said Dr. Holmes. “Today, people who have suffered from many types of
injuries need to start the correct type of motion right away. Dr. Cool
wraps can increase the effectiveness of this process by providing a
combination of compression and cryotherapy during recovery, as well as
offering 360 degrees of cold compression versus traditional ice packs
that only cover a limited area.”
Dr. Holmes recently joined the Dr. Cool advisory board and is a board
certified chiropractic sports physician, nationally registered
emergency medical technician, certified strength and conditioning
specialist and has been trained in Active Release Technique™. He also
provides consultation and specialized treatment to professional and
elite level athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, NCAA and IOC.
