March 12, 2014 — Z-Flex is back in Venice searching for the next Z-boy.
Birthed in Venice Beach, Z-Flex Skateboards along with Jay Adams, ‘the
original seed of skateboarding’, are organizing the inaugural Jay Boy
Classic, a skateboarding competition for under 21 year old unsponsored
skateboarders at the Venice Skatepark in Venice Beach, California on
April 12, 2014.
As a platform for unsponsored skaters to have their chance to get
noticed, Z-Flex is rewarding the winner of the contest with a one-year
flow sponsorship. Along with the Grand Prize of a one-year flow
sponsorship, prize packs will be given to places 1-10 full of product
from Z-Flex as well as the supporting event sponsors: Hurley, Osiris,
Tracker Trucks, Venice Originals, Ollo Clip and Vita Coco.
40 spots will be open on the day for skaters to register for the event.
In addition to the 40 spots, Z-Flex is teaming up with Hella Clips to
offer 5 Golden Tickets of pre-registration into the event.
Venice Skatepark is in the heart of Venice and has always been an asset
to the Venice community.
Located along the Venice boardwalk, in
Southern California’s second must popular tourist destination, the event
will be an attraction for everyone in the area- with grandstands, a DJ
and skaters from all over looking to get their spot on the Z-Flex
flowgram.
