For its second
exhibition debut in the US, BAVARIA motorboat has chosen the biggest
American exhibition: Miami Boat Show from the 13th to the 17th of
February. BAVARIA first launched the motorboat range to the American
public at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show at the beginning of November to
highlight their “Made in Germany“ high quality products. With the
appearance at the Miami Boat show BAVARIA intensifies its engagement in
the USA and sees some good opportunities for growth.
“For us, the USA is an important key market in the world where 170,000
motor and sailing yachts are sold on average per year. We see a great
potential for the brand BAVARIA in the USA because the growth rates for
the American market for the next years are clearly more than five
percent.
According to studies of the NMEA, 88 million Americans every year spend
time on the water with an upward trend. The first boats have already
been delivered by BAVARIA in the US. Now we want to develop our
distribution network and our engagement further“, underlines Constantin
von Bülow, CEO of BAVARIA.
The figures for the Miami Boat Show are impressive: more than 2,000
exhibitors will display 3,000 boats and yachts in the two marinas and
convention centre. BAVARIA is also represented in both marinas with
exhibition stands. In the Sea Isle Marina, the visitors are able to view
the SPORT 39 HT and the VIRTESS 420 FLY on the BAVARIA stand, they are
also able to arrange test runs after the show. The SPORT 44 HT fitted
with Volvo Penta engines is also ready for a test run in Miami. The
engine experts from Sweden also want to demonstrate the efficiency of
the IPS drive system from Volvo Penta to the audience. Interested

In the Miamarina Bay Side where the sailing yachts are displayed you
will find the Bavaria VISION 46. Together with her smaller sister, the
VISION 42, these models have proven to be the most popular sailing
yachts for the American clients from the German production line.
As per recent figures, the American market for yachts is in a further
upward trend and the BAVARIA range of products seems to fulfill exactly
the wishes of American customers. A high quality in manufacturing, an
attractive design and the know-how of German engineers in every detail
of a BAVARIA are the principal reasons for the purchase a yacht from
German production.
