Quiksilver appointed Steve Finney, previously senior vice president of
global business development for retail at Disney, as its new senior
vice president
and general manager of consumer direct for the Americas.
Finney succeeds Paul McAdam, who has resigned.
McAdam joined Quiksilver in late 2011.
Finney joined Quiksilver from retail consultancy Radical Expansion,
where he was managing director. He has also held a number of executive
positions with The Walt Disney Co.’s Disney Store retail chain.
Andy Mooney, who joined Quiksilver as president and chief executive
officer in January after 11 years at Disney Consumer Products and 20
years at Nike, has been busy reorganizing Quiksilver’s management.
Last
month, Quiksilver Europe President Pierre Agnes added global head of
apparel to his title. Quiksilver also named Tom Hartge as global head of
footwear and Kasey Mazzone as global head of supply chain.
With Mooney's hiring, founder and former Chief Executive Bob McKnight became executive chairman.
