Blundstone, the original Chelsea boot since 1870 from Tasmania, Australia, is expanding their Super 550 Series for Fall 2014 with an infusion of color. These latest introductions to the Blundstone assortment is reflective of the company’s commitment to deliver new styles seasonally to the U.S. market starting with the Spring 2014 season.
“This season is all about nature-inspired colors,” said Blundstone CFO Andrew Ross. “The new color offerings in the Blundstone Super 550 Series are subtle and rich incorporating stylistic details like two-tone outsoles and contrast gore in addition to the comfort and durability our customers have come to expect.”
New color combinations for Fall include Black/Gum, Black/Green #1402, Navy/Rub #1430, Red Rub #1431, Carmel/Gum #1432 (pictured). These ruggedly comfortable boots feature PORON® XRD™ inserted into both the heel and the forepart of the sole construction to absorb up to 90% of the energy from the impact for unmatched comfort. Additional features include leather lining, TPU outsole, PU midsole and extra foot beds for fit adjustment.
The latest additions to the Super 550 Series will be available at retail August 2014 for both men and women for $180.
