February 4, 2014 – NEW YORK – Liberty Fairs Las Vegas
will host the second edition of the trade show at the Sands Expo at The
Venetian, February 17 – 19, 2014. Lead by industry veteran, Sam
Ben-Avraham, the show will host approximately 380 brands with over 50 of
them being new to Liberty Fairs.
Liberty Fairs will be joined at the Sands Expo by The Modern Assembly
including Agenda, Capsule, MRket, and Stitch. At the front of the show
attendees will find the launch of The Drugstore, curated by David
Pirrotta. Approximately 20 men’s grooming brands will be showcased in a
beautifully designed space including custom fixtures with a modern take
on the classic drugstore.
The space will be activated by Blind Barber, providing complimentary
cuts, shaves, and trims in addition to wholesaling their product.
Committed brands include C.O. Bigelow Brands Proraso and Marvis, Capsule
Parfums, Dr. Dewy, Earth Tu Face, Ernest Supplies, Gentleman’s Co.,
Grown Alchemist, Jaboneria Marianella, Jao, Laboratory Perfumes, Lite +
Cycle, Mayron’s Goods, New York Shaving Company, Oliver & Company,
Recipe for Men, Reverie, Sachajuan, Ursa Major. Ouigi Theodore of The
Brooklyn Circus, Sam Lambert and Shaka Maidoh of Art Comes First are
returning with a new selection of brands in Freedom Hall including
3sixteen, Armando Cabral, American Trophy Athletics, Daily Paper,
Sentier, F.N.B.C. Friday Night Blazer Club and LAURENCEAIRLINE to name a
few.
In addition to Freedom Hall, Liberty has added two satellite areas on
the show floor. The first new area will be ‘The Block, curated by Kyle
Simone’ of Skingraft which will host 6 brands in the high-end street
culture arena and the second will be ‘Decades, curated by the founders
of Feltraiger’ focusing on 5 new American classics with an emphasis on
American made product.
NETWORK, Liberty’s technology initiative, will be back this season
with 4 new partners in ‘The Park’ area of the show. Each partner brings a
cutting edge technology that serves the fashion industry in a unique
way. Partners include PERCH Interactive, Fashion GPS, NuOrder, and Prism
Sky Labs. Prism Sky Labs will be fully integrated, as they will be
using heat tracking to measure traffic behavior at the front of the
show.
Lot, Stock and Barrel – an e-commerce site curated to be the
definitive source of an eclectic array of rare and vintage goods curated
with the inspiring narrative in mind – will be launching at the show.
The site will host online membership exclusive sales including fabric
lots, vintage items, military trims and other unique item lots, all of a
refined and restored quality.
The new platform will showcase their
capabilities via a full vintage installation. Attendees will be able to
purchase The Woolmark Company will be on-site showcasing their latest
wool-based collaboration with internationally renowned British tailor
Timothy Everest for the first time at a US men’s contemporary trade
show.
The collaboration is a part of The Woolmark Company’s aim of
introducing different designers to the infinite potential of Merino
wool. Past collaborations include designers among the likes of Alexander
Wang and Narciso Rodriguez. The Woolmark Company will be taking
meetings on-site with Liberty Fairs brands to plan future
collaborations.
Liberty Fairs will kick off the show with Earnest Sewn
in celebration of the denim brand’s relaunch at Tao Las Vegas on
Monday, February 17th from 10pm–4am featuring the world renowned DJ
Liberty Las Vegas. -
