SAN DIEGO, CA, March 10, 2014 – Holland Cycles has opened a state of the art 1,800 square foot showroom in the heart of central San Diego.
“Since I began welding custom frames so many years ago, we’ve always been committed to indepth relationships with our customers. Not just fitting them by specification but also by analyzing their riding position and other physical constraints,” said founder and president of Holland Cycles, Bill Holland. “Our new showroom provides us the opportunity to greatly enhance our fitting, analysis and therefore our service to the rider.
To date, Holland Cycles has best been known for their striking use of Carbon and Titanium materials woven in their Exogrid® Bicycle designs. However, Bill Holland has been handcrafting a variety of materials including steel and titanium since 1976 in San Diego (a student of Albert Eisentraut).
Holland has also launched a new website to support and enhance customer’s experience in understanding their unique product line and services; especially those not local to San Diego.
“The new showroom and website are just the fist steps in a complete plan to enhance customer’s understanding and visibility of our custom bicycle design materials and options, plus our thriving custom wheel business,” said Mike Wilson, recently announced as the new Marketing and Sales Director. “2013 proved a continuing trend where demand for our custom road bicycles maintained double-digit growth.”
Wilson, formerly the Marketing Director and co-founder of Kali Protectives, is a long distance road racer and Holland endorsee. Previously he long held marketing and product rolls at Salomon Sports.
Bicycle media will receive their first preview of the 2014 Holland bicycle line at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS) in Charlotte, North Carolina from March 14-16.
Holland Cycles has handcrafted bicycles in San Diego since 1976. Our designs are anatomically fit, purpose built and satisfaction guaranteed.
